General warranty

The Avia D-Line range is covered by a 12 month comprehensive bumper to bumper warranty. 

The driveline is covered by a second year’s warranty up to a maximum of 200.000km.

Extended warranty packages* are also available at a small extra supplement at the time of order to cover your exact requirements for 3^rd, 4^th or 5^th year cover. These extended warranty packages cover all non-wearing items and also include a  top-up warranty converting the second year driveline warranty to comprehensive bumper to bumper.

Cab warranty

Avia have strived to produce a cab that not only lasts the test of time, but which also minimises the negative effects on the environment during manufacturing and painting.

Firstly, all main cab panels are locally pressed from sheet steel and are zinc coated on both sides.  Once assembled, the cab undergoes an 11 stage full-immersion catophoretic paint preparation process, ensuring that all panels are fully prepared for final painting.  The catophoretic process ensures that the inside of all hidden box sections are also perfectly treated as an extra precaution against corrosion.  Two final spray paint stages apply the intermediate and the final colour paint.  All products used in this meticulous preparation are water based,  reducing the harmful effects on the environment to a minimum.  Daewoo Avia's paint plant employs fully automated German technology and is one of the most modern paint plants in the truck building industry.

Further anti-corrosion measures are the use of plastic cladding panels to the front of the vehicle, and wax injection of sensitive areas.

As a result of this preparation, Avia is able to offer a 3 year cab paint guarantee and a 6 year* anti-corrosion warranty.
