Engine
The heart of the D-line AVIA vehicle is a four cylinder Cummins ISBe4.5E5-series engine meeting the emission standard EURO 5 by using a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) with the AdBlue liquid injection. These engines are characterized by high reliability, low fuel consumption and low operating costs. Exhaust brake with control under the steering wheel.
Gearbox
Manual 6-speed, fully synchromesh ZF6S850 gearbox, gear shifting by cables, prepared for mounting a PTO to drive auxiliary power units of the superstructure.
Cab
All steel, zinc coated metal panels, anti-coorrosion protection by cataphoresis e-coating, forward tilt, LHD and RHD vesion, with 4 points suspension – front mounting points on rubber bushes, rear suspension with coil springs and hydraulic shock absorbers incl. automatic hydraulic lock-down device. Front access panel in plastic for daily checks. Colours by RAL colour guide. Standard lighting, fog lamps (optional). External mirrors in compliance with EC directive 2003/97/EC. Extended Sleeper cab with one bunk as option.
Air suspended driver´s seat, dual passenger bank or air suspended co-driver´s seat, Mechanically adjustable steering column. Dual tachometer in km/h and mph, digital tachograph, elektrically operated rear mirrors, windows and central locking (optional), manually controlled air conditioning (optional). Sun visors, storage space, preparation kit for radio/CD (loudspeakers + antenna), cruise control.
Chassis
Axles Albion or Arwin Meritor, ladder-type cold riveted and/or bolted construction with U section side members and open profile cross-members. Six wheelbases, fueltank 120 or 200 litres, spare wheel carrier in the rear overhang (depending on wheelbase), AdBlue tank 30 litres.
